The iFobs can actually
lock into place, so not only does Traka control who has access to the
cabinet but also which specific key a user is allowed to take. Access to
Traka is by PIN, card or biometrics and we can even offer you compatibility
with existing access cards making Traka into an effective extension of your
current access control system. No wonder Traka offers total access
management.
Finding who has the key is simply a matter of enquiring at the keypad. More
importantly Traka holds the information in the special Traka32 Windows
software allowing long-term records to be maintained so you will always know
who used the key at any time in the past. You will also know how often the
keys were used and for how long. In turn this gives you important
information about the assets of your business, perhaps the total time a
vehicle was used for or how frequently the lift motor room was accessed for
maintenance. Keys are not just there for security. They are often for
control, perhaps to prevent untrained staff from using dangerous equipment
and in today’s ever more controlled society, health and safety issues are of
increased importance. Traka systems are tried and tested and in use 24 hours
a day throughout the world. They are used by some of the largest
corporations, at government and military sites, in correctional
institutions, in hotels, hospitals, motor dealers, amusement parks, casinos
and almost every type of organisation you can imagine. We fully recognise
that the monitoring and management of the asset controlled by the key is the
reason Traka cabinets are so successful. Features such as fault logging
allowing problems detected during the use of the asset to be recorded, key
curfews which alarm when keys are not returned on time, key booking which
allows keys to be reserved and mileage logging requesting a vehicles mileage
to be recorded when the keys are returned are just some of the quite unique
features available with Traka. |
