Training
Qualifications
All our Technicians have obtained or are working towards City & Guilds
Nation Vocational Qualification (NVQ)
level 2 for Fire, Security and Emergency Alarm Systems Level 2 Installing
Security Systems as awarded by the Security Industry Training Organisation (SITO).
We also operate our own in house NVQ scheme in
conjunction with the Security Industry Training Organisation and
Inner London Training (ILT).
Our Senior Management are NVQ approved assessors.
In
addition to this our Technicians have received certificated training in:
Norbain/LTC CCTV Field Service & Installation, Alarm troubleshooting,
advanced potential faults diagnosis & rectification (ACT Meters),
Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 (Leeds College of Technology), BS 7671
2001 Regulations for ElectricaI Installations (Leeds College of Technology)
and the Electrotechnical
Certification Scheme (ECS).
Our
Technicians regularly attend in house courses and refresher courses with
Manufacturers in our training centre which are all fully certificated.
Our
high-tech training centre has been designed to give
a hands on training theme for systems use. All our Technicians attend
an extensive training curriculum on CCTV
based on Norbain's LTC Training Centre CCTV Service & Installation
Certification Programs. Plus a range of videos on Intruder Alarms and Remote Video
Monitoring Training.
Our
Project Team are trained and certificated in Internal Auditing & Management Review (NACOSS), Method Statements
(Rialto), Risk Assessment
training for DD243 & BS EN 50131 (NACOSS), Risk Assessments
(Rialto Training), the Electrotechnical
Certification Scheme (ECS), Health & Safety
(Rialto), Asbestos awareness
(Rialto), all British &
European Standards (including BS:8418, DD243, BS EN 50131, BS EN 50133), Intelligent security
solutions using IP networks & IP Network Video (VMS), and all Manufacturers &
Distributors Training (including Axis, BT, Bewator, Menvier, DualCom,
DM, Haes, Honeywell, TOA, VMS, Xtralis), as well as being fully versed
with the Disability &
Discriminations Act (DDA 2004), and the Data Protection Act.
We
keep full Training Records on all of our Employees in accordance with
the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.
