Training
Qualifications
All our Technicians have obtained or are working towards City & Guilds
Nation Vocational Qualification (NVQ)
level 2 for Fire, Security and Emergency Alarm Systems Level 2 Installing
Security Systems as awarded by the Security Industry Training Organisation (SITO). We operate our own in house NVQ scheme in
conjunction with the Security Industry Training Organisation and
Inner London Training (ILT).
Our Senior Management are NVQ approved assessors.
Our
Technicians are qualified with the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme
(ECS) and hold a valid ECS card at all times which is fully recognised by Industry as
an equivalent to the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) for
building and construction trades. The ECS is administered by the Joint
Industry Board for the Electrical Contracting Industry.
In
addition to the above our Technicians have receive certificated training in: LTC CCTV Field Service & Installation (Norbain), Alarm troubleshooting,
advanced potential faults diagnosis & rectification (ACT Meters),
Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 (Leeds College of Technology), BS 7671
2001 Regulations for ElectricaI Installations (Leeds College of Technology).
Our
Technicians regularly attend training courses and refresher courses with
the Manufacturers which are all fully certificated. We keep full
Training Records on all of our Employees in accordance with
the
requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008 accreditation. Our
own state of the art training centre has been designed to give a hands on
training theme. All our Technicians attend
an extensive in house training curriculum
based on the LTC Training Centre Service & Installation Certification
Programs (Norbain).
